Since joining Brunini in 1995, James McCullough has developed a diverse commercial litigation and creditors’ rights practice. He regularly represents secured and unsecured creditors in account and contract litigation, debt restructuring and workouts, and consumer and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. James is experienced in representing companies and individuals in state and federal court litigation concerning a variety of legal issues, including contract disputes, land disputes, business torts, lender and mortgage servicer liability, creditors’ rights, premises liability, oil and gas disputes, right of way disputes, products liability and personal injury. He regularly advises companies on matters involving debt collection and asset foreclosure, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other state and federal laws and regulations governing creditors’ and debt collectors’ activities.
