Charlie Penick joined the Brunini firm in 2002 and is a member of the firm's Commercial Department. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Accountancy and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi. He later earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami. Charlie primarily practices in the areas of federal taxation and probate matters.  He has experience in tax-deferred exchanges under I.R.C. §1031 as well as mergers and acquisitions of various business entities.

Representative Matters

• Assisted Cellular South, along with Ken Rogers and David Andress, in its acquisition of Corr Wireless Communications, LLC, a commercial mobile radio service provider with customers in northern Alabama, northwest Georgia, and southeast Tennessee.
