David joined the Brunini Firm in 2007 as an associate in the firm's commercial department.  He graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Vanderbilt University.  

Representative Matters

• Walter S. Weems and David A. Weems assist client in the acquisition of 38,538 acres of timberlands in southeast Georgia. In addition to the real estate acquisition, the transaction included a capital raise from private investors of approximately half of the purchase price and a loan from an institutional lender in a new market tax credit structure of the remainder of the purchase price. Weems and Weems represented the purchaser/borrower in all three phases of the transaction.
