Lane W. Staines
Associate
Lane Staines joined the Brunini firm in 2008 as an associate in the firm's regulatory department. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and English magna cum laude from Millsaps College in 2005. Lane received her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal, in 2008. She was also a member of the Moot Court Board, serving as Executive Editor of the Mississippi Review of First Impressions, and the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.
Representative Matters
- Obtained summary judgment with Sharon Bridges for a major retail company. The plaintiff in the state court action alleged negligence contributing to a slip and fall. Bridges and Staines were successful in obtaining dismissal of all claims.
