A Career with Brunini

The Brunini Firm has grown consistently in recent years. In order to recruit new attorneys to meet its clients' increasing demands, the Firm interviews at a number of law schools and has an active summer clerkship program that is an integral part of its overall recruiting effort.

 Introduction

Founded in the late 1800's, the Brunini Firm is one of the state's oldest and largest law firms. The Firm is presently comprised of over sixty lawyers, more than half of whom are members of the firm. We are located on three floors of the The Pinnacle at Jackson Place in downtown Jackson.

Associate Development

New associates are assigned to specific departments and practice areas when they start work at the Firm. When designating assignments, the Firm makes every effort to accommodate the associates' personal preferences; associates who are uncertain about the specialties they wish to pursue are given an opportunity to perform work outside of their assigned practice areas. To assist new associates in the integration process, the Firm also assigns two mentors to each new associate.

Compensation and Benefits

Brunini’s starting salaries for new associates are among the highest offered by large firms in the region. Additionally, the Firm provides a bonus to defray the new associate's bar exam and living expenses while studying for the bar exam. Benefits available to new associates include: group medical and life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan benefits, and parking reimbursement. The Firm also absorbs the costs associated with professional fees, dues and continuing legal education expenses.
