Lynne Green Appointed to ACTEC State Chairs Steering Committee

The ACTEC State Chairs Steering Committee is organized to promote efficient communications among ACTEC state chairs and to assist them in carrying out their duties in an effective manner.  This committee is responsible for vetting items before they are presented to the State Chairs and often represents the point of view of the State Chairs to the Regents and the Executive Committee of ACTEC.   Ms. Green, who currently serves as State Chair for Mississippi, has been appointed to represent the ACTEC Southern Region, which consists of Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky.  She will be responsible for organization, communications and activities within the Southern Region.  Ms. Green's three-year term is effective immediately at the close of the 2010 Annual Meeting in March.

ACTEC, The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, is a national organization of approximately 2,600 lawyers elected to membership by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.
