Brunini Hosts Winter ISA Meeting

The Brunini firm recently hosted the Winter Meeting of the Independent SALT Alliance.  The two day even featured technical presentations by members covering such topis as recent developments in unclaimed property law, economic nexus, implementation of unitary combined reporting and an update on intangibles add back statutes.  Ed Morgan, Chairman of the Mississippi Department of Revenue, and Joe Garrett, an attorney in the policy group of the Alabama Department of Revenue were special guest speakers. 

The ISA is a not-for-profit association of independent providers of professional state and local income tax specialists hailing from across the country.  The ISA provides a network that enables its members to stay informed of state and local tax issues across geographic, industry and tax specialty lines.  The firms and individuals that make up the ISA are able to draw on the relationships and skill sets of their fellow ISA members to assist clients with various state and local tax issues and matters as they arise.
