Weems, McCullough and Weems assist in Poultry Complex Acquisition

Walter Weems, James McCullough and David Weems recently assisted Peco Foods in acquiring the Batesville, Arkansas poultry processing operations of Townsends, Inc., which filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in Wilmington, Delaware on December 19, 2010.  The facilities were acquired through a competitive bidding process under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, which involved bidders from South Korea and the Ukraine.  Peco Foods is a family-owned, fully integrated poultry processing business with operations in Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas.
