James McCullough has been selected by the Madison County Chamber of Commerce as a member of the 2008-2009 Leadership Madison County Class. The leadership program is designed to teach, develop, and activate citizens to the needs and opportunities within the community.
James McCullough joined the Brunini firm in 1995. He concentrates his practice primarily on commercial litigation and bankruptcy, and regularly represents secured and unsecured creditors in account and contract litigation, debt restructuring and workouts, and consumer and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. James is experienced in representing companies and individuals in state and federal court litigation concerning a variety of legal issues, including contract disputes, land disputes, business torts, lender liability, creditors' rights, telecommunications, insurance litigation, premises liability, oil and gas disputes, products liability and personal injury. As an offshoot of his creditors' rights practice, he regularly advises creditors on matters involving debt collection and workouts, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and state and federal laws and regulations governing creditors' and debt collectors' activities.
